Hardwire kits
An AZDome dashcam doesn't just record all your journeys. You can also use it as extra surveillance when your car is parked. To use the parking mode on your AZDome dashcam, you need to connect it to the car battery with a hardwire kit. The power supply regulates the power when your car is parked and sends a signal to the camera when you turn the car's ignition on and off. Alternatively, you can use a Cellink powerbank if you do not want to or cannot connect the power supply to the car battery.
You can choose between a 3-wire hardwire kit or an OBD power supply. The OBD power supply is “Plug&Play” and plugs into the car's OBD port. The disadvantage of this power supply in some cars is that the OBD port cover will remain open, which may not look very nice. The 3-wire power supply is installed in the car's fuse box, which requires a little more attention. However, this makes the cable easier to conceal.
