AZDome M63 Lite True 4K Wifi dashcam

The AZDome M63 Lite is an entry-level dashcam with everything you need to record all your journeys. This Lite version of the M63 Lite features a large 3.0-inch LCD screen and Wifi. It records in 4K resolution and a rear camera can be connected as an optional extra. The Lite version of the AZDome M63 does not have GPS.

Ultra 4K resolution

The AZDome M63 Lite dashcam is equipped with the latest 8.0MP image sensor that guarantees the sharpest Ultra 4K videos. It films with a resolution of 3840p*2160p at 25fps, but you can also set it to record in FullHD 60fps. The HDR technology guarantees perfect image quality in all weather conditions. The dashcam can also take photos in 18M pixels.

Please note: Due to its angled mounting on the windscreen, the AZDome M63 is less suitable for installation in trucks or other vehicles with a vertical windscreen.

3.0-inch LCD screen

A unique feature of this M63 Lite is its clear and large 3.0-inch LCD screen. The screen displays what the camera is recording and with one press of a button you can access the menu or take a photo. You can also start and stop recording or turn the microphone on or off. The menu interface is very user-friendly, making changing settings a breeze.

Optional rear camera

The M63 Lite can be expanded with a rear camera that can be mounted on the rear window or bumper. The rear camera is connected to the front camera via a 6-metre cable (included).

The cameras record simultaneously and the images are stored separately on the SD card. The image from the rear camera is displayed on the LCD screen via PiP (Picture in Picture) and the rear camera can also be displayed in full screen mode at the touch of a button.

The rear camera does not require an additional power connection, as it is powered via the cable that connects it to the front camera. However, it does have an additional power connection that can be optionally connected to the power supply of the reversing light. In that case, the image from the rear camera is displayed in large format on the LCD screen when the car is put into reverse. This makes the M63 4K useful as a parking aid.

Wifi

The M63 Lite is equipped with wifi, allowing all images to be easily viewed on a smartphone. The Wifi has a range of approximately 10 metres. The AZDome App is available for iOS (Apple) and Android phones and tablets. The app allows images to be viewed and downloaded, eliminating the need to remove the SD card from the camera.

CPL filter option

To improve image quality and prevent reflections in the image, you can expand the dashcam with the optional universal CPL filter (see accessories). This filter acts as a kind of Polaroid sunglasses for the lens and can be useful in sunny conditions.

Secure mounting

The M63 Lite has a sturdy self-adhesive mount that ensures the dashcam stays in place and that the recordings do not contain unnecessary vibrations. The holder is mounted on the windscreen with a 3M sticker and the dashcam clicks into the holder.

The lens can be rotated in all directions so that it can always be positioned correctly. The camera comes with several self-adhesive 3M stickers and removable static pads. By placing these on the windscreen in front of the holder, you can remove the entire holder from the windscreen without leaving any marks.

Includes extra holder

The AZDome M63 Lite comes with two holders. The extra holder is perfect for use in an additional vehicle. The holders are mounted on the windscreen with a 3M sticker, allowing you to easily switch the dashcam between vehicles.

Automatic parking mode

The M63 Lite dashcam has a handy automatic parking mode. The parking mode has three options:

Time lapse only: The camera films continuously with time lapse, including the rear camera if fitted. In this mode, the camera takes a photo every second, which can later be played back as a fast-motion video. Time lapse is an economical recording mode, which means that the dashcam does not use too much power or data. This allows up to 30 times more videos to be stored on the SD card.

Motion only: The camera is in standby mode (on but not recording). When motion is detected, a normal 1-minute recording starts. This function only works with the front camera.

Off: The camera continues to film with the set resolution. Parking mode is not activated.

When a vibration is detected in parking mode, the current recording is always saved securely so that it cannot be overwritten.

* The automatic parking mode of the M63 Lite only works in combination with the optionally available AZDome HM03R or OBD hardwire kit and cannot be switched on and off manually. In combination with the hardwire kit, the camera automatically switches to parking mode when the car is turned off and starts normal recording when you start the car again. This makes the M63 Lite ideal for use as security for your car.

Loop recording

The M63 Lite is equipped with loop recording. This means that the camera continues to film when the SD card is full. The oldest fragments on the SD card are then deleted and automatically overwritten with new images. The length of the fragments can be set to 3, 5 or 10 minutes. Loop recording can also be disabled, in which case the camera will make one long recording. Please note that the camera will stop filming when the SD card is full.

HDR

Thanks to HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology, the camera is able to generate sharp images in very high and very low light conditions. This allows the camera to record crystal-clear images both during the day in bright light and at night in low light.

170˚ (+ 150˚) wide-angle lens

This M63 Lite has a 170˚ wide-angle lens at the front and 150˚ at the rear (optional). This allows a very large area to be observed.

Auto start

The AZDome M63 Lite dashcam automatically starts filming when the car is started. So you don't have to worry about it when it's in the car. The only requirement is that it is connected to the car's power supply via the cigarette lighter socket. If you use the optional hardwire kit, the camera will automatically switch to and from parking mode.

G-sensor

The built-in G-sensor detects when you have been in an accident. In the event of an impact, images are automatically saved so that they are not lost. They cannot be overwritten or deleted via the dashcam.

Built-in microphone

The AZDome M63 Lite has a built-in microphone so that sound is also recorded. The microphone can be easily switched on and off with a single tap on the screen.

Date/time/license plate watermark

The date, time and license plate can be displayed at the bottom of each video so that you can later prove when and with which vehicle certain recordings were made. This can be crucial in assessing situations and determining liability for the police and/or insurance.

Convenient USB cigarette lighter power supply

This AZDome dashcam comes with a convenient 3.5-metre USB cigarette lighter power supply with an extra USB port. The other USB port can be used to charge other devices such as your mobile phone.
